  Oh well took comp home went to start it and same problem again. Took it back with my cords to plug it into this guys monitor and he said he would take a look but he is certain my computer needs to be replaced which he could sell me a recycled one. Apparently he also had to do some changes in the bias so he would need another 30 bucks and could sell me another comp for 200.

  Called this computer guy as I was desperate to get this fixed for an assignment due who agreed to service, clean and replace the battery for $45.00

  Took the computer to another shop who took the lid off and immediately showed me the first problem which was he had installed the battery the wrong way round which could have shorted my computer and cause real damage. After turning battery right way round we then discovered the battery that was used to replace was flat too!!!!

  The second opinion only charged me $5 although I took up about 30 mins of his time.

  My computer upon starting couldn't boot because the time and date was out due to a flat battery.

  Dropped computer off and agreed to come back later that afternoon. Upon arrival to pick up serviced unit the guy couldn't service or check if he had fixed the computer as he claims he didn't have a plug that suited my graphics card for his monitors and still charged me the full amount of $45 for replacement battery and apparently for cleaning it even though he didn't even have brand new batteries.
